Due to the diversity of display devices such as TVs and advertising machines, some devices support system-level horizontal and vertical screen switching, while others do not. CXPlayer supports horizontal and vertical screen switching from multiple dimensions.
First, on the Admin End, you can choose horizontal or vertical screen when creating a program

At this point, there are three options - horizontal screen, vertical screen, and follow system. The horizontal and vertical screen configurations require system support for screen switching. For some old TVs, the system is fixed to horizontal screen, and the configuration here does not work. It needs to be configured on the Player APP. The "follow system" option is suitable for programs that are applicable to both horizontal and vertical screens, so that the Player APP can automatically select based on the current state of the device when playing the program.

For devices that do not support system-level horizontal and vertical screen switching, CXPlayer also supports horizontal and vertical screens on the Player APP. The horizontal and vertical screen configuration on the Player APP makes it more adaptable. Whether the device is installed rotated 90° to the left or 90° to the right, it can be correctly displayed through software configuration. The horizontal and vertical screen configuration on the Player APP is as follows:

Select with the remote control, and click the OK button to switch between follow system, 90, 180, and 270.
